Authentico currently only uses USDA organic agave from the Highlands of Jalisco. Our agave is grown at least 7 years befor being harvested. This means at least 7 years growing organically without pesticides, fertilizer, or chemicals.

A distillery with amazing history and legacy yet utilizing technology like solar panels to be more sustainable and self efficient. Tequilas Del Señor actually produces so much solar energy that power is resurged to the electricity grid of Mexico.

Zero waste production isn't just a catch phrase. We collect every scrap, pulp, piece of agave, or liquid left over from the production process and transport it over to our organic compost site. We also mix these remnants with left over fruit from the Guadalajara Fruit Market creating a nutrient dense organic soil to be used in the agave fields and farms all over Mexico.

TDS has a 27 year, 35 hectare reforesting project. 65,000 trees have been planted yet only 35,000 achieved. Not only are we planting, but ensuring the trees are grown.
